What Does a Pool Leak Detection Inspection Include?
Our swimming pool and spa leak detection inspections evaluate pool surfaces, skimmers, lights, return fittings, main drains, accessible equipment, and associated plumbing. We use visual dive inspections, dye testing, static plumbing isolation, and specialized underwater listening equipment to investigate the source of water loss. Pressure testing is used when needed to help confirm plumbing leaks.
Leak inspections include up to 10 minor patches during the visit for common, accessible leaks, including small holes in vinyl liners, leaks behind pool lights, minor skimmer cracks, and leaks around fittings where suitable for patching. Eligible inspections with minor patches include a 30-day warranty.
Larger leak repairs, including underground plumbing repairs and work requiring excavation or more extensive access, are quoted separately.
After your inspection, you receive a written report explaining our findings and recommended next steps, with a separate repair estimate when additional work is needed.
